Like the majority of the Hawke range of cable glands,
the 501/453/RAC cable glands are dual certified for both flameproof
EExd and increased safety EExe applications. An RAC range of industrial
cable glands are also available.
The RAC range of glands cover a wide of cables which includes "W",
"X", "Z"armoured cables and lead, plastic and elastomer
sheathed cables. Fitting is much simpler and faster resulting in a significant
reduction in installation time, by as much as 40%.
153/RAC
For outdoor and indoor use with single wire armoured "W", wire
braided "X", steel tape armoured "Z" and non-armoured
(A2) elastomer
and plastic insulated cable. This
gland meets the requirements of BS 6121 and IP66 ingress protection.
