Reinforced Polyester Enclosure    
The PL712 is of robust glass filled polyester construction and designed
to meet the requirements of increased safety
EExe II. The enclosure offers a degree protection up to IP66/67 and deluge
proof.
The PL 712 is also available AExe II UL listed
for use in Class 1, Zones 1 and 2. Further details on request. To enter
cables in to the enclosures you need

Application
The enclosure has a high degree of resistance to corrosive atmospheres
and has excellent electrical insulation properties and mechanical strength.
The enclosure is designed to provide maximum flexibility in the number
and size of cable entries together with the optimum terminal capacity.
The enclosure may be supplied complete with terminal assemblies or as
an empty component approved enclosure for final certification by the customer
after fitting his own equipment. In this case, the prefix ' Z ' is used
e.g. ZPL 712. flameproof and
explosionproof enclosures
EMI/RFI shielding option available.
An option for use in a 55°C ambient temperature is also available.
Earth Continuity
A continuity plate is moulded into the inside faces of the enclosure to
give electrical continuity between cable gland entries. The plate extends
through the wall of the enclosure to the external mounting foot providing
internal to external earthing ( which is maintained even after fire conditions)
as well as additional mechanical strength. hawke

Empty Component Approved Enclosures
Enclosures are also available with EExe II component approval. Additional
approval is required by the customer prior to being installed in a hazardous
