Application
Outdoor or indoor.
For use with non -armoured elastomer and plastic insulated
cable with extruded or taped bedding
In particular:-
a)
Cables which are not effectively filled.
e.g.
cables not complying with BS 5308,
BS 5467, BS 6116, BS 6346, BS 6883 or equivalent.
b) Enclosures containing
an ignition source in gas
group IIC areas.
c) Enclosures exceeding
2 litres in volume, containing an ignition source and installed
in a Zone 1 area.
Function
- Provides
a compound seal around individual cable cores.
- Provides
a seal on cable sheath.
- Facilitates
inspection of
compound through the transparent plastic pot.
Operating
Temperature Range
-20°C + 80°C as standard.
-60°C + 100°C optional available.
