Hawke cable glands cover the whole spectrum of cable armour/braid types and applications from general industrial through increased safety, deluge, flameproof and explosionproof.
The connectors are available in brass as standard with stainless steel, aluminium or plastic as optional materials on certain designs.

Universal (501/453/UNIV )
A truly Universal solution, this dual certified EExd flameproof and EExe increased safety is designed for use with cables with "W", "X"and "Y" types of armour/braid.
The 501/453 is certified to CENELEC standards by BASEEFA, Brazilian regulations and standards by CEPEL and Canadian standards and regulations by the CSA.

501/423
The 501/423 has dual certification EExd flameproof and EExe increased safety for use in both gas and dust potentially explosive atmospheres. This is suitable for use with non - armoured elastomeric, plastic insulated and braided type .
The501/423 offers a wide cable acceptance range and superior cable pullout resistance than conventional designs.

ICG 623
The purpose of the icg 623 is to form a barrier between the individual insulated conductors within the cable, and prevent entry of the products of an explosion from the equipment into the cable.
The icg 623 has a transparent compound chamber which permits inspection of the assembly to ensure the integrity is assured.
The icg 623 has dual certification EExd Flameproof and EExe increased safety.

RAC
As per the majority of Hawke flameproof range of RAC glands are dual certified EExd flameproof and EExe increased safety. The patented Hawke RAC (Reversible Armour Clamp) is available in designs with elastomeric seals, compound barrier and lead sheath seals. The unique Hawke RAC arrangement enables these cable glands to cover cable diameters up to 78mm in only 8 sizes.

ICG 653 UNIV
The ICG 653 UNIV compound filled cable gland offers the user many benefits and is installed in some of the most hostile and demanding environments. The cable gland is suitable for use with unfilled cables and is dual certified flameproof EExd and increased safety EExe. The cable gland incorporates the Hawke RAC arrangement and is suitable for use with "W","X", and "Y" armoured cable types.
