Stopping
plugs
477 and 475 Flameproof EExd , 187 and 375
increased safety EExe.
- To provide a means of sealing and stopping
unused threaded entries in enclosures where the certification
requires the use of stopping plugs.
- Available in metallic and non-metallic
options , they can be supplied in a wide range of thread
sizes, materials and plating types.
- For use with flameproof enclosures, the
477 is inserted into unused tapped holes from the inside
of the enclosure, whilst the 475 is inserted from the outside
of the equipment.
- For use with increased safety enclosures
, the 187 meets the requirements of IP66 whilst the 375
meets the requirements of IP66, IP67 and deluge proof ingress
protection.
- Suitable for use in Zone 1 and Zone 2,
gas groups IIA, IIB and IIC.

Stopping Plugs

Shrouds
|
- Hawke offer a range of shrouds which are used
to minimise the risk of dirt or foreign substances gathering on
the cable gland body.
- Available in PVC ( for sizes O to J ) and LSFZH
( low smoke & fume, zero halogen - for sizes O to F). Supplied
in black as standard ( other colours available in PVC only).
PCP shrouds for sizes O to F are also available.

Earth Tags and Lock Nuts
|
- Earth tags are installed between the cable gland
and equipment to provide an earth/bond connection.
- Locknuts are used to secure the cable gland body
to the gland plate or the equipment.
- Available for each cable gland size and thread
type and supplied in brass as standard. Other materials and plating
available upon request.
