Provides a high pullout resistant seal onto the outer sheath.
When used in increased safety applications, this gland may be used with braided
where the braid and the outer sheath pass into the enclosure. The braid must
be suitably terminated inside the enclosure.

safe cable terminations glands offer dual
flameproof EExd and increased safety EExe certification and features an IP66
/ 67 outer deluge seal, reversible armour clamp and a unique patented internal
diaphragm seal.
Unlike a conventional compression /displacement seal, the inner diaphragm seal
of the UNIVERSAL
intrinsically safe cable
termination gland does not compress the inner sheath with the result that problems
associated with 'cold flow' characteristics are totally eliminated.
As per the majority of Hawke flameproof range of glands are dual certified EExd flameproof and EExe increased safety. The patented Hawke RAC (Reversible Armour Clamp) is available in designs with elastomeric seals, compound barrier and lead sheath seals. The unique Hawke RAC arrangement enables these cable glands to cover diameters up to 78mm in only 8 sizes.
