increased safety EExe and flameproof
EExd applications. Available in various square, rectangular and circular
formats, they are manufactured in stainless steel, mild (carbon) steel,
cast iron, glass filled polyester (GRP) and polypropylene.
Rail mounted terminals are fitted as standard to all enclosures, with
direct mounted terminals as an option on certain junction box types
.
All Hawke enclosures supplied complete with terminal assemblies have certification
for specific hazardous area Ex applications. Several enclosures are also
AExe listed by UL / cUL and CSA certified for
use in Class 1, Zones 1and 2 in compliance with the NEC and CEC codes
respectively. Empty Ex enclosures for final certification by the end user
can also be supplied on request.

PL6 and PJ Series
Hawke has
4 sizes of increased safety EExe enclosures for use in Zone 1 and
2 hazardous areas. Manufactured in flame retardant, antistatic,glass
reinforced polyester (GRP) material with a robust construction,
high mechanical strength and excellent insulation properties.
Deluge proof with IP66 ingress protection rating as standard.
PJ Series
Manufactured in a polypropylene material and offering increased
safety Exe protection for use Zone 1 and 2 hazardous areas

Route-Master Series 214
